This recipe requires the white sliced bread to sit out for about five days to get hard. Ingredients: | |
4 large | onions, chopped |
1 and a half of an extra large loaf sliced white bread | |
1 large can | mushrooms, sliced and chopped take out water and dry |
1 stick | butter |
2 | eggs |
A lot of leaf thyme
Instructions:
Sauté onions, butter and mushrooms until golden brown.
Wet each piece of sliced bread but do not soak the bread!
Add the onion mixture to the slightly wet bread.add 2 eggs. Mix with hands.
Generously cover with leaf thyme, so you see the top with a lot of thyme.
Mix well with hands. Then you can stuff a turkey or a chicken
