Meat Loaf Wellington (Another Fisher Favorite!) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 1 - 10 & 1/2 oz. can Franco American Beef Gravy 1 & 1/2 lbs. Ground Beef | |
1 c. | small bread crumbs |
1 | Egg, slightly beaten |
1/4 cup | minced onion |
1 Tsp. | Salt, (less, nowadays) |
1/8 Tsp. | Pepper |
1 package | Pillsbury Crescent Rolls |
Combine 1/4 cup of the beef gravy, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Shape firmly into a meatloaf. ( 7 x 3 inches) Place in a shallow baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes. Separate and unroll the Crescent Rolls one at a time. Place them crosswise over the top & sides of the
meatloaf, overlapping slightly.
Bake another 15 minutes. Serve with remaining gravy, (heated in a small saucepan.)
