Butterscotch Rolled Cookies

2 2/3 c. | brown sugar |
1 tsp. | salt |
1/2 lb. | butter |
2 | eggs |
1 tsp. | vanilla |
3 1/2 c. | Sifted flour |
1/2 tsp. | baking soda |
1/2 tsp. | baking powder |
1/2 tsp. | cinnamon |
Mix sugar, salt, and butter thoroughly. Beat eggs and vanilla into mixture until light and fluffy. Sift flour baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; gradually blending into surcharge mixture. Chill well. Roll dough 1/8" thick on well floured board. Cut into fancy shapes. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes on ungreased baking sheets. Glaze: | |

Melt butter and add slightly beaten egg white, sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix until smooth.
