Sloppy Joe Turnovers Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. | |
1 large | can, (10 Biscuits), Hungry Jack Refrigerated Flaky Biscuits |
1 lb. | Ground Beef |
1/4 c. | chopped onion |
1/2 Tsp. | Salt |
1/4 Tsp. | Garlic Powder, (Today I would add a minced or finely diced Garlic Clove) |
1/2 c. | Ketchup |
1/4 c. | Sour Cream |
Brown the meat, onions and garlic in a large skillet. Drain as needed. Add the rest of the ingredients, (except the biscuits), and mix well.
Separate the biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. On an ungreased cookie sheet press or roll each biscuit into a 4 x 4 inch square.
Place ~ 1/4 cup meat mixture on the center of each square. Fold over a corner of the square to form a triangle. Seal the edges with a fork.
Cut a slit in the top of each triangle, (to release steam as cooking).
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. Can brush with a little butter when they are hot if desired!
