Pecan Butter Crescents

| 2 cups | butter, softened |
| 1 cup | powdered sugar |
| 1 tsp. | vanilla |
| 4 cups | flour, sifted |
| 2 cups | nuts, pecan or walnut, chopped medium fine |
Cream butter, add sugar, then vanilla.
Add flour & nuts alternately. Batter should be dry & crumbly.
Roll into crescent shapes or balls.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake 20-25 min.
When cool, dip in additional powdered sugar.
