    1/2 cup  butter softened
    2 Tbsp  sugar
    1 tsp  vanilla
    1 cup  cake flour
    1 cup  chopped pecans

Powdered sugar for rolling

Beat butter till fluffy, add sugar and vanilla, mix well. Stir in flour and pecans. Roll into 1/2 - 3/4 inch balls, bake 325 degrees for 15-18 min. Immediately remove from sheet and roll in powdered sugar ( the balls are fragile). Cool on racks, once cool roll again in powdered sugar.
