| 2 c | self-rising flour |
| 1 t | cinnamon |
| 1/4 c | soft margarine |
| 3/4 c | veg. shortening |
| 1 c | granulated sugar |
| 1 c | pumpkin |
| 1 med | egg, unbeaten |
| 1 t | vanilla |
| Sift flour & cinnamon together. Cream margarine & shortening together, gradually adding sugar and beat fluffy. Add pumpkin & egg, beat well. Add dry ingredients all at once. Bake at 350 about 12 minutes. | |
| FROSTING | |
| 3 T | margarine |
| 1/4 c | milk |
| 1/2 c | light brown sugar |
| 1 c plus 2 T | powdered sugar |
| 1/2 t | vanilla |
Combine margarine, milk and sugar in saucepan. Boil slowly for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool, then stir in powdered sugar and vanilla.
