Blonde Brickle Almond Brownies

1 1/3 cups | flour |
1/2 tsp | baking powder |
1/4 tsp | salt |
2 | eggs |
1/2 cup | white sugar |
1/2 cup | brown sugar |
1/3 cup | melted butter |
1 tsp | vanilla |
1/4 tsp | almond extract |
1 package (6 oz) | Bits of Brickle chips, (divided) |
1/2 cup | chopped pecans, (optional) |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8" square pan. Mix flour with baking powder & salt; set aside.
Beat eggs well; gradually add both sugars & beat until thick & creamy. Add melted butter, vanilla & almond extract. Gently stir in flour mixture until all is moist. Fold in 2/3 cup of Brickle chips (& nuts). Pour into prepared pan & bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven & immediately sprinkle remaining Brickle chips over the top. Cool completely before cutting.
