Coconut Pecan Icing

2/3 cup | sugar |
2/3 cup | evaporated milk |
2 | egg yolks |
1/3 cup (75 g) | butter |
1/2 teaspoon | vanilla |
Cook and stir constantly over low heat about 10 minutes or until the egg thickens. Do not boil. Remove from heat and add: | |
1 1/3 cups | flaked coconut |
2/3 to 1 cup | chopped pecans |
Spread on cooled cake.
