Basil sorbet

2 cups of sugar, 2 cups of water, 1 cup of lemon juice, 25 basil leaves, 1 cup crushed ice.. |
Place lemon juice, water and sugar in pot. Slowly bring to a boil over medium heat. When it comes to a boil remove from heat. In a blender place the basil ice and lemon mixture and blend. Cool as quickly as possible in an ice bath then transfer to ice cream maker and churn.
