Dessert German Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars

3 cups | pecan halves and pieces 1 3/4 C flour 3/4 C powdered sugar |
3/4 C | cubed cold butter 1/4 C unsweetened cocoa |
1 1/2 C | unsweetened chocolate morsels 3/4 C brown sugar |
3/4 C | light corn syrup 1/4 C melted butter 3 eggs, slightly beaten |
1 C | flaked coconut |
350 oven. Bake pecans in single layer in a shallow pan 8 to 10 minute or until lightly toasted, stirring halfway through. Line bottom and sides of a 13x9 pan with foil, allowing 2-3 inches to extend over sides. Lightly grease foil.
Pulse flour and next 3 ingredients in food processor 5-6 times until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture on bottom and 3/4 inch up sides of prepared pan.
Bake crust at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, and sprinkle chocolate morsels over crust. Cool completely about 30 minutes.
