    6  eggs
    1 1/2 cups  sugar
    1 cup  melted Crisco shortening
    3 tablespoons  baking powder
    1/2 bottle  lemon extract
    1/2 bottle  anise extract
    3 - 3 1/2 cups  flour
Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Let dough stand for 1/2 hour. Knead dough and shape into 2-inch wide, as long as loaf. Egg wash on top. Bake 15-minutes. Cool completely. Frost and slice loaves into 1-inch thick cookies. FROSTING:
    2 cups  confectioners sugar
    2-3 tablespoons  milk,, (or more until right texture)
    1 tablespoon  Crisco shortening
    1-2 teaspoons  lemon extract

Mix all ingredients until smooth. Frosting should stick to cookies without running down sides.
