HI "e", my basic butter cream frosting is : 1/2 cup soft butter, 1/2 cup crisco, (either reg. or butter flavor), 1 tsp. vanilla, pinch salt. Mix together well. Add 4-5 cups of confectionary sugar slowly. Have a about 1/4 cup of milk handy. add milk alittle at a time to find the consistancy you want. for piping you might want it a litte stiffer. for spreading a little looser. so just adjust your sugar and or milk. Have fun. We may be down next weekend. Will let you know.. Zach turns 21 on the 21st.
