    1 small package  ground beef
    1 medium  onion
    1 package  old el paso hot and spicy seasoning mix
    1 14 ounce can  refried beans
    1 127 ml can  old el paso chopped green chilies
    1 3/4 cups  grated cheddar cheese
    1 215 ml bottle  old el paso mild taco sauce

Fry meat with onion and then add seasoning mix. Set aside. Spread beans in the bottom of a pie plate. Then put the layer of meat mixture next. Next layer is the can of chopped chilies. Next layer is the cheese. Then pour the bottle of taco sauce over the cheese. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.

Make ahead tip: prepare the dip and keep refrigerated until ready to bake. Can also be frozen and then baked.
