German chocolate cake frosting

1 1/2 cup | evaporated milk |
1 1/2 cup | sugar |
4 slightly beaten egg yolks | |
3/4 cup | butter |
1 1/2 tsp | vanilla |
2 cups | coconut |
1 1/2 cup | chopped pecans |
Heat first five ingredients until thick. Toast coconut and add with pecans to thickened mixture.
