Sopranos pork chops with vinegar peppers

Ingredients: | |
1 tbs | olive oil |
4 | pork chops, 1 inch thick |
Salt | |
pepper | |
2 cloves | minced garlic |
2 cups | sliced mild pickled peppers, ( plus juice) |
3-5 hot pepperoncini peppers with juice
Directions;
1- heat the oil and In a large skillet over medium high heat
2-pat chops dry, sprinkle with salt and pepper and add to a hot skillet
3- cook chops, turning once for about 5 minutes in each side, or until brown
4- lower the heat to medium and scatter garlic around chops
5- cover and cook 5 to 8 minutes more
6- check for doneness
7- remove to a plate and keep warm
8- add the peppers and juice to skillet
9- cook stirring for 1-2 minutes or until the peppers are heated thorough
10- spoon the peppers over chops and serve immediately
