Dissolve 1 cup of sugar into milk and bring to scalding. Beat egg , add V.E . Add egg to milk and whisk. Pour into caramel filled pie container . Bake at 325* until turns to jello like mold . Remove & let cool .
Caramel sauce
Take the 1/2 cup sugar , add a enough water to moisten all sugar . Bring to a boil . Once it starts to turn amber in color , stir till whole mixture is same color.
Remove and add to pie container.
