| 1/2 cup | margarine |
| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla |
| Mix the following together In a small bowl: | |
| 6 tablespoons | cocoa |
| 2 tablespoons | canola oil |
| 2 oz. squares | chocolate, alternative |
| Now mix the following into the cream mixture: Cocoa and canola oil mixture | |
| 2 cups | flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | soda |
| 1/4 teaspoon | salt |
| 3/4 cup | sour cream |
| Spoon onto baking pan. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Mocha Frosting: Mix together: | |
| 1/4 cup | margarine |
| 2 tablespoons | cocoa |
| 2 teaspoons | instant coffee |
| salt, (pinch) | |
| Cream the following into the mixture above: | |
| 1 cup | powdered sugar |
| 2 tablespoons | milk |
| 1 1/2 teaspoon | vanilla |
Beat until smooth. Frost cookies when cool.
