Dominos sugar chocolate syrup brownies

1/2 cup | Butter |
margarine, alternative | |
1 cup | domino granulated sugar |
1 (16oz) can | chocolate syrup, ( about 1 -1/2 cups) |
4 | eggs |
1 cup | all purpose flour |
1/2 cup | chopped nuts |
Chocolate frosting: | |
2 cups | domino sugar |
1/2 cup | butter, ( 1 stick) |
1/2 cup | milk |
1/2 cup | cocoa powder |
1/2 tsp | vanilla extract, (optional) |
Preheat oven to 350 grease 13x9x 2 inch baking pan
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add syrup, eggs and flour; beat well. Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool completely. Frost with chocolate
Frosting and cut in bars.
Chocolate frosting:
In a 2 quart saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa. Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl. Add vanilla and beat
with an electric mixer until Thick enough to spread, approximately 10 minutes. Yields 2. 1/4 cups frosting
