Pork, Pulled, Wickham

4lb | pork butt |
2tbsp | oil |
1 | BBQ Sauce, Southern |
1 tsp | garlic salt or salt |
1tsp | black pepper |
Sear pork roast with oil in a frying pan. Plac roast in crockpot add alittle salt or garlic salt and pepper and about 1/3 of a bottle (about 3oz) of BBQ sauce. Cover and cook on Hi for about 4 to 5 hrs, then on Low for anothr 4 to 5 hrs* depending upon the size of the roast. Towards the end remove the bone, fat and possibly some of the liquid. Shred or pull the roast apart using forks and add the remainder of the bbq suace. Let simmer for another hour.
Suggested Timeline for Sunday Dinner;
8am sear the roast and place in crockpot set on high
12pm set the Crockpot to low
4pm remove bone, fat, and extra liquid. Pull apart then add remaining BBQ sauce. Let simmer on warm.
5:30-6pm serve.
