10-11 c. | Flour,, (more if needed) |
2 tsp | Salt |
1 c. | Lard |
1/2 c. | Sugar |
1 T | Vinegar |
4 c. | Water |
Make a well in flour, add remaining ingredients. Knead until smooth and elastic, adding more flour if necessary. Let rise until double in bulk, then punch down. Repeat once more. Form into egg sized buns and let rise until very light. Bake at 400° for approx 25 minutes
