Tomato Basil Soup

6-8 | Tomatoes |
6-8 | Basil leaves, (chopped) |
3 cloves | garlic |
1/2 | onion |
2-3 C | chicken broth |
1/4C | butter |
1/4C | flour |
Olive Oil | |
salt and pepper | |
1C | Half&half |
Cut tomatoes in half. Chop basil (1-2Tbsp) and garlic. Spread over tomatoes. Drizzel with olive oil. Roast at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove the skins.(can add garlic)
In sauce pan melt butter and saute onion and garlic. Add flour, saute. Add chicken broth. Process tomatoes and add to pan. Add half&half.
