| 3 Tbs | sugar |
| 1 Tbs | baking powder |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 3/4 c | milk |
| 1/2 c | oil |
| melted butter, alternative |

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together wet ingredients. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until well mixed and there are no flour lumps.
Cook on preheated waffle iron until brown, about 3 minutes.
