Nestle toll house chocolate chip cookies

| 2 1/4 c | all-purpose flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 1 c | softened butter |
| 3/4 c | sugar |
| 3/4 c | packed brown sugar |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 2 lg | eggs |
| 2 c | semi-sweet chocolate chips |
| 1 c | nuts, (optional |
Preheat oven 350
Combine first 3 ingred. Beat butter, sugars & vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips & nuts. Drop by rounded tbsp onto ungreased sheet.
Bake 9 to 11 minutes. Cool 2 min. Makes 5 dozen.
