COCKTAIL - BOURBON - Pineapple Bourbon Punch

1/2 cup | water |
1/4 cup | honey |
12 maraschino cherries,stems removed, coarsely chopped | |
4 cups | pineapple juice |
1 cup | fresh orange juice |
21/2-3 cups | bourbon |
2 cups | club soda, chilled |

12 maraschino cherries with stems, for garnish
1. Combine water and honey in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring, until honey dissolves, about 2 minutes. Add chopped cherries and let stand until cool. (Plan-ahead tip: Make honey syrup a few days
in advance and store in the refrigerator.)
2. In a large pitcher, combine honey syrup, pineapple juice, orange juice, and bourbon; stir to mix. Refrigerate until cold.
3. Just before serving, add club soda and stir gently to combine. Fill glasses with ice. Pour punch over ice and garnish with cherries.
Makes 12 drinks.
