Mom's Cherry Pie

2 cans | cherries |
2 1/2 T | tapioca |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1/4 tsp | almond extract |
1tsp | lemon juice |
1C | sugar |
2T | butter |
Take 1/3 of liquid from cherries and reserve. Drain remainder. Place liquid in a bowl add tapioca, salt, extract, lemon juice, cherries. Add sugar and mix. Let set while making crust.
bake 30 minutes at 425.
