Zoe’s Banana Bran Bread

| Cream together 1⁄4 cup shortening 1⁄2 cup sugar and add | |
| 1 | egg, beaten well |
| Add 1 cup of all-bran 1 1⁄2 cup of mashed bananas | |
| 1 tsp | vanilla. |
Sift together 1 1⁄2 cups of flour
1⁄2 tsp salt
1⁄2 tsp baking soda.
Stir only until well mixed. Bake in 375°F oven for 1 hour in a greased pan.
