Applesauce cake

| 1 cup | sugar, (white or loosely packed brown) |
| 1/2 cup | margarine, (or butter) |
| 1 | egg |
| 1&3/4 cup flour (with 1/2 tsp salt,1/2 tsp cloves, 1tsp soda, 1 tsp cinnamon) | |
| 1 cup | raisins |
| 1 cup | applesauce, ( heated) |
Beat butter, add sugar & egg
Stir in flour mixture
Add heated applesauce and fruit
Bake in greased 8 x 8 pan, 350 for 40 min
