Dump Cake

    1 can  Comstock blueberry or cherry pie filling or
store brand
    1 (22 oz) can  crushed pineapple, drained
    1 package  yellow cake mix
    1 cup  chopped walnuts
    2 sticks  butter
      margarine, alternative

1) Spread pie filling in a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Top with layer of crushed drained pineapple. Pour powdered cake mix over to cover fruit. DO NOT add anything to the cake mix or mix the layers.
2) Sprinkle walnuts on top. Cut butter or margarine into small pieces and scatter over walnuts, covering top as much as possible. Bake in preheated, 350-degree oven for 1 hour. Makes 12 servings.

This is also delicious when served with vanilla ice cream or any flavor of your choice.

This is great recipe especially for last minute unexpected company. I always try to keep ingredients in the cupboard, you never know! J
