Caramel slice

Recipe Ingredients (serves 24 ) | |
1 cup | White self-raising flour |
1 cup | Brown sugar |
1 cup | Dessicated coconut |
125 g | Butter, unsalted, melted |
1 can | HIGHLANDER Sweetened Condensed Milk |
2 tbsp | Golden syrup |
30 g | Butter, unsalted, extra |
150 g | NESTLÉ Dark Melts, melted |
How To Make
Preheat oven to 180ºC. Grease 18xm x 28cm baking pan.
Combine first 4 ingredients, mix well. Press into pan. Bake for 10 minutes, cool.
Combine sweetened condensed milk, golden syrup and extra butter in pan. Stir over medium heat until boiling, reduce heat, stir constantly for a further 5 minutes. Spread over base, bake for a further 10 minutes, cool.
Spread top of slice with melted melts, refrigerate until set.
