Soft chocolate chip cookies

| 2 1/2 c | all purpose flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 c | butter, softened |
| 3/4 c | brown sugar, packed |
| 1/4 c | white sugar |
| 1 pkg | instant vanilla pudding mix |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1tsp | vanilla extract |
| 2 c | chocolate chips |
| 1 c | chopped walnuts, (optional) |
1). Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Sift flour and baking soda,set aside
2). In large bowl,cream together butter, brown sugar, & white sugar.
Beat in vanilla pudding mix until well blended.
Stir in eggs & vanilla.
Blend in flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips & walnuts.
Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
3). Bake 10 to 12 minutes in preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
Cool slightly on cookie sheet then transfer to cooling rack.
