Bananas Tonga

• 1 tbs. unsalted butter
• 2 tbs. brown sugar
• 1 banana, peeled
• 1 tbs. orange juice
• 2 tbs. rum
• dash cinnamon
• fresh mint (optional)
• 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Melt butter and sugar in a sauté pan over low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Slice banana lengthwise and place in butter-sugar mixture, turning slices several times to coat and warm them.
Combine orange juice, rum, and cinnamon.
Place each banana slice on a plate and top with sauce.
Garnish with fresh mint. Add ice cream and enjoy!
