Sliced Baked Potatoes (Brenda's Recipe)

4 medium | potatoes |
1 tsp | salt |
2.5 Tbsp | butter, melted |
2.5 Tbsp | fresh herbs, chopped,, (parsley, chives, thyme or sage) |
2.5 Tbsp | dried herbs of your choice |
4 Tbsp | cheddar cheese, grated |
1.5 Tbsp | Parmesan cheese |
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes if skin is rough. Otherwise, just scrub the skins really good.
2. Cut potatoes into thin slices, but not all the way through. Use a handle of the spoon to prevent knife from cutting all the way through.
3. Put potatoes in a baking pan and fan the, slightly.
4. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with salt and herbs
5. Bake for 55 minutes at 425 degrees.
6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese.
7. Bake potatoes another 10-15 minutes until lightly browned, cheeses are melted, and potatoes are soft inside.Check with a fork.
