1 1/2 lbs. | top round steak, cut into 1/4" pieces |
2 Tb. | vegetable oil |
1 1/2 Tb. | flour |
3 c. | water |
1 | clove garlic, crushed |
1 (8 oz.) can | tomato sauce |
1/3 c. | chili powder |
1/2 tsp. | salt |
Brown steak in hot oil over medium heat in a Dutch oven. Add flour; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add water and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
