2 1/2 C | flour |
2 Tsp | baking powder |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/3 C | lard, (margarin) |
~1 C water
Mix dry ingredients together with lard. Then mix in water till moist and plyable in the hands with out being sticky.
Take a one inch round stick and whittle the end 3 inches clean of bark and such. Take a small handful of dough and roll in hands into a long snake. Wrap around the clean end of the stick and squish w/ hand till fairly thin and nice and even on the stick. Cook over camp fire till golden brown all the way around. Eat with pie filling, jam, honey, butter or whatever.
