APPETIZERS - Carolina crab cakes

1 | egg, lightly beaten |
1/2 c | soft bread crumbs |
1/4 c | mayonnaise |
1 tbsp | grated onion |
1/2 tsp | minced fresh parsley |
1/2 tsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1/8 tsp | seafood seasoning |
1/8 tsp | ground mustard |
dash | pepper |
dash | hot pepper sauce |
1 can (6 oz) | crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed |
1 tbsp | canola oil |
In a small bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. Fold in crab. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Drop crab mixture by 1/4 cupfuls into the pan; cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
