3 Tomato Bolognaise

1lb | minced beef |
1 med | onion |
1 clove | garlic |
1 tin | chopped tomatoes |
150 mls tomato passata | |
1oz | tomato purée |
5-6 med | button mushrooms |
1/4 lb | Spaghetti |
Parmesan cheese, (garnish to taste) |
Finely dice the onion
Stalk and slice the mushrooms
Finely chop the garlic
Fry the beef with the garlic and half the onion
Add the mushrooms when the beef is 3/4 cooked
When the beef is cooked add the canned tomatoes
Add the tomato passata and the purée
Leave to simmer for 20 mins
When the beef has simmered for 12 mins add the spaghetti to a pot of boiling salted water. Remove when al dente and add to the meat tossing well and serve. Add Parmesan to taste.
