Pan Grilled Flank Steak with Soy Mustard Sauce

1 pound | flank steak |
3/8 teaspoon | salt |
1/4 teaspoon | pepper |
cooking spray | |
1 teaspoon | canola oil |
1 1/2 teaspoons | garlic, minced |
2 tablespoons | soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | dijion mustard |
3/4 teaspoon | sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons | heavy cream |
2 tablespoons | cilantro, chopped and divided |
Heat a grill pan over medium high heat. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper and coat steak with olive oil.
Add steak to pan and cook for 5 minutes each side.
Heat a small skillet over medium high heat. Add oil to pan, swirl to coat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add soy sauce and mustard and sugar and cook for 1 minutes. Remove pan from heat, sitr in cream and 1 tablespoon cilantro. Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin sliced and sprinkle with remaining cilantro
