1 Big | Onion, (chopped) |
1 Cup | Tomato purée |
1 Cup | Thick Curd |
1 lbs | Paneer, (Cubed) |
1 tbsp | Red chilli powder |
Salt to taste | |
1 tbsp | Kasoori Methi |
1 tbsp | lemon juice |
2 tbsp | Oil |
1 tsp | Cumin seeds |
1 tbsp | Ginger-Garlic paste |
A pinch | Turmeric powder |
A pinch | Red Food Color, (optional) |
1 tbsp | Coriander powder |
1/2 tsp | Cumin powder |
1 tsp | Garam masala powder |
1/4 cup | Cream |
1 tsp | All-purpose flour |
2 tbsp | Coriander leaves, (chopped) |
Method:
1. Take a bowl, add thick curd, red chilli powder, salt, Kasoori methi , lime juice and oil mix well. Add all the vegetables and paneer mix well. Marinate it for about 15 minutes.
2. In a non stick pan add one table spoon of oil, add marinated paneer and vegetables, cook both the sides. Once it is done keep it aside.
3. In a pan add oil, cumin seeds, chopped onions , a pinch of salt, turmeric , ginger garlic paste, all purpose flour, mix and cook for 3 minutes. Now add tomato purée , coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, mix well, and let it cook till oil oozes out.
4. Once it is done add water as needed and bring it to a boil. Then add cooked paneer and vegetables, Garam masala powder and cook for some time. Add cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes and finally garnish with coriander leaves.
