Tomato Basil Tort

    1  Pie Crust
    1 1/2 Cup  Shredded Mozzarella
    5  Roma tomatoes
    1 Cup  loosely packed fresh basil leaves
    4 cloves  garlic
    1/2 Cup  Mayonnaise
    1/4 Cup  Grated Romano cheese
    1/8 t.  ground white pepper

Unfold and bake pie crust according to package instructions. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella right away - cool.
Cut tomatoes on small wedges, drain on paper towel. Arrange wedges on top of melted cheese in pie shell.
Coarsely chop garlic and basil. Sprinkle over tomatoes.
Combine remaining ingredients (mozzarella, mayonnaise, Romano and pepper). Spoon over basil spreading evenly over top.
Bake in 375 oven for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.
