Chocolate Nutella Cookies

1 cup + 1/2 cup | unbleached flour |
1/2 cup | unsweetened cocoa powder |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1 tsp | baking soda |
1/2 cup | unsalted butter |
1/2 cup | sugar |
1/2 cup | brown sugar |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
1 tsp | hazelnut extract, (or 1/2 tsp additional vanilla) |
1/3 cup | milk |
1/3 cup | nutella |
1/4 cup | flour spread onto plate to coat your hands while working dough |
Sift together dry ingredients. Set aside.
Cream togethere butter and sugars. Add extract. Add dry ingredients, a little at a time. After adding half, add milk. Add rest of dry ingredients. Add nutella last. Cover and refrigerate for 15-20 mins.
Preheat oven to 325. Coat hands with flour. Shape cookies into balls. Place onto parchment paper lined baking sheets.
Use bottom of drinking glass and coat with flour - use to flatten cookies. Bake for 10-12 mins.
