Meat Loaf Roll-up

For the Meat Loaf: | |
1 # | hamburger |
1 | egg |
¼ cup | ketchup |
2/3 cup | oatmeal, (not instant) |
½ cup | water |
For the Filling: | |
1 cup | shredded cheese |
6 oz | ham, shaved |
For the Glaze: | |
¼ cup | ketchup |
¼ tsp | nutmeg |
1 tsp | yellow mustard |
Tbsp | brown sugar |
Directions:
For the Meat Loaf:
Mix all ingredients together.
Place a large piece of wax paper (12 x 18) on the countertop.
Place the meatloaf mixture on the wax paper and pat it down so that if forms a rectangle almost as wide and long as the paper itself.
For the Filling:
Layer the shaved ham on the rectangle.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Starting at the narrow end, roll the Meat Loaf up like a jelly roll being sure to pinch the ends and the seam closed.
Place on a jellyroll pan.
For the Glaze:
Mix all the ingredients together.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove from the oven. Add the glaze to the entire Meat Loaf and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
