Parmesan Noodles

6 cups | uncooked noodles |
2 packages (3 ounces each) | cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup | Smart Balance buttery spread, softened, divided |
2 TBSP | minced fresh parsley |
1 tsp | dried basil |
1/2 tsp | lemon-pepper seasoning |
2/3 cup | boiling water |
1 | garlic clove, minced |
2/3 cup | grated Parmesan cheese, divided |
Additional Parsley, optional |
1 - Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, 2 TBSP butter, parsley, basil and lemon-pepper. Stir in water; keep warm.
2 - In a saucepan, sauté garlic in remaining butter until golden. Drain noodles; place in a serving bowl. top with garlic mixture. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese; toss lightly.
3 - Spoon cream sauce over noodles and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Garnish with parsley if desired.
