1/2 | bushel tomatoes |
1 1/2 pints | good vinegar |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
1 tsp | allspice |
1/2 tsp | red pepper |
1 tsp | cloves |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 tsp | black pepper |
1 Tbsp | salt |
1 Tbsp | sugar |
Boil tomatoes and vinegar together then strain through flour sifter and boil juice with other ingredients until thick enough. Bottle and cork hot. I dip top of bottle in parawax to make it air tight.
