| 2 cups | white sugar, carmelized |
| 1 1/2 qt | water |
| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
Thicken with cornstarch. Cook until cornstarch is done, then add 1 Tbsp vinegar, 1/2 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp cinnamon (dissolve this in boiling water) and a piece of butter as large as an egg.
