Ingredients
    1 lb  flank steak
    1 tsp  allspice
    1 tsp  cloves, ground
    1 tsp  basil, dried
    1 tsp  thyme, dried
    1/2 tsp  red pepper flakes
      Salt
      pepper

Instructions

Preheat grill, grill pan or broiler. Coat a grill, large baking sheet or shallow roasting pan with cooking spray.
Mix spices together in a small bowl.
Season steak with spices on both sides.
Grill or broil steak for five minutes per side, until medium-rare. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing crosswise into thin slices.
