SUNRISE COUNTRY SAUSAGE & BACON CASSEROLE

3 cups | milk |
1 tsp | dry mustard |
3/4 tsp | kosher salt |
1/2 tsp | ground black pepper |
8 slices | bacon |
8 ounces | crumbled breakfast sausage |
nonstick cooking spray | |
7 slices | sourdough bread, cut into 1 1/2" cubes |
8 ounce package | shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup | thinly slice green onions |
Preheat oven to 325. In medium bowl whisk eggs, milk mustard, salt and pepper. In large skillet, cook bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces. Into same skillet, add sausage and cook over medium heat until browned.
Generously spray 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Using half of each layer bread cubes, bacon, sausage, cheese, and green onions into baking dish, repeat layers with remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture into baking dish.
Bake casserole 1 hour or until center is set and internal temperature reaches 145. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares to serve.
Casserole can be assembled and refrigerated the night before, then baked fresh in the morning.
