Macaroni Salad

1 (16 ounce) package | elbow macaroni |
Carrots, sliced | |
Green pepper, diced | |
Frozen green peas | |
2 cups | mayonnaise |
1 (14 ounce) can | sweetened condensed milk |
¼ to ½ cup | sugar |
¼ cup | white vinegar |
Salt, to taste | |
pepper, to taste |
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain well. Combine macaroni, carrots, onion, green pepper and peas in large bowl; toss gently and set aside.
Combine mayonnaise and remaining ingredients in bowl; stir well. Pour dressing over macaroni mixture; toss gently to combine. Cover and chill 8 hours. Mixture will thicken as it chills.
