300 ml | egg whites, (10) |
3 drops | lemon juice |
285 gr | sugar |
16 gr | cornstarch |
180 ml | water |
10 ml | vanilla extract |
Egg whites |
with sugar until soft peaks. Place cornstarch in small saucepan, gradually add water, stir until smooth. Bring to a simmer while stirring constantly. Once the mix is transluscent, cook 30 seconds longer. Add vanilla. Immediately add the cornstarch mix to egg whites, turn mixer to high speed and whip meringue to stiff peaks.
