Orange Slice Cookies (Ms. Kinley )

| 1 1/2 cups | brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup | margarine |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 1/2 cups | flour |
| 1/2 cup | quick cooking oats |
| 1 teaspoon | soda |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 1 pound | orange slices, cut up and coated with 1/2 cup flour |
| 1/2 cup | chopped pecans |
Beat sugar and margarine with mixer until creamy. Add eggs and mix. Stir in flour, oats, soda, and salt; mix well. Stir in flour coated orange slices and pecans. Roll into balls, flatten slightly and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes. About 4 dozen.
